as you learn to nurse your baby and your baby learns to nurse,
someone to listen wisely and nonjudgmentally to all your questions and feelings after the baby comes?
A Postpartum Doula is skilled in offering families evidence-based information and support on breastfeeding,
emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, infant soothing, mother-baby bonding, and coping skills for new parents.
My fee for this service is $15 per hour with a 4-hour minimum and includes:
in-home support for mother and baby
breastfeeding support
newborn care assistance
infant soothing
mother-baby bonding
father-baby bonding
tending baby so mother can shower, rest, eat
coping skills
help incorporating siblings
support for partner
In addition, for $20 per hour with a 4-hour minimum, I will also provide:
nighttime assistance (8-hour minimum)
baby’s laundry
grocery stops
errand running
light housework
I accept cash and credit/debit card.
